Middle School Competition and Iftar Dinner

Holy month of Ramadan in Youth Island !

Middle school groups from Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island came together. We broke our fast with delicious foods. Talked about the importance of Ramadan and fasting. Students had a lot of fun at knowledge contest.

Brooklyn came 1st at contest. Also we made a gift draw and gave prizes to winners. Our students trying to live Ramadan as it should be. In order to support them we awarded them in 3 categories ; Quran, Fasting and Taraweeh.

Students that made the highest scores on each categories, received betta fish from us to make them gain responsibility.
